A coming of age drama by Aviv Geffen, one of Israel’s greatest rock artists. In the early 90s, one of the most optimistic decades known to Israeli society, young rock bands engulfed the clubs, stirring up hungry and impassioned followers. Into this scene a 16 year old appears, from a Moshav (village), lonely and rejected, who just a few years later will become Israel’s greatest rock star. This is a coming of age drama, a desperate quest for love, told in the first person by Aviv, in a sequence of genuine intimate situations. His journey begins in his parents’ basement upon the dissolution of their marriage, goes on to his first concerts in front of a hostile and aggressive audience, his first love, getting kicked out of the house and ends with his rise to the summit of Israeli rock, once again lonely and rejected as when he started out.
