BAD BOY is a gripping drama that tells the story of DANIEL, a successful stand-up comedian, hiding his dark past – that his adolescence was spent as a prisoner in a brutal juvenile detention facility. When one of his friends from inside is released from prison and appears at his comedy show, Daniel is forced to confront what he left behind decades ago.

Twenty years earlier, while in jail, Daniel (then known as DEAN) finds himself paired in a cell with none other than ZORO, a mysterious inmate who has been branded by his fellow prisoners as a psychopath and cold-blooded murderer. New in the pack, the other inmates try to use Dean as their pawn, demanding that he kill Zoro if he wants to stay alive.

But the more the gang pushes him, the closer Dean grows to Zoro, until the two become each other’s lifeline and closest friends. Torn between his own life and that of his friend, Dean must learn to harness his unique intelligence, creativity, and humor to keep the two of them together – all while battling his own inner demons as he searches for the truth about how he wound up in jail to begin with.
